  • Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura): Positioned above the navel, it’s associated with confidence, willpower, and personal identity. The solar plexus chakra might look like a belly dancer too, but since it’s the core of your body, the solar plexus chakra is usually a part of most ritual dances, especially a sacral dance or warrior dances. A solar plexus dance is rooted in your power and your own nature.
  • Heart Chakra (Anahata): Located at the center of the chest, it represents love, compassion, and emotional balance. Heart chakra dancing might look like exaggerated arm movements or a devotional dance.
  • Throat Chakra (Vishuddha): Situated in the throat, it relates to communication, self-expression, and truth. For a throat chakra dance, you might weave sound with movement or create a visual universe and draw inspiration from words or sounds.

The idea of using dance and movement to channel energy is in alignment with practices such as the ancient Egyptian “Isis Dance,” where rhythmic and sacred movements were used to invoke healing, emotional release, and divine connection.

Basically, humans have been dancing to shift their energy since the dawn of time. So you can too!
